About Clevedon Craft Centre

Clevedon Craft Centre was founded in 1971 by Jeffrey Bright and David Stear when, on leaving college, they started their business Stear and Bright silversmiths in what had been the cowshed of New house farm. Over the years more craft businesses opened in other disused farm buildings and Clevedon Craft Centre developed. There are currently 11 independent artists and craftspeople working at the Centre. Stear and Bright Silversmiths, ACA Smith Leathercraft, Eve Sparey illustrator,Liz Riley 's colourfuful pottery, painters Gail Clark, and Ursula Newell-Walker,Donna Dean's wedding tiaras and accessories ,and the ceramic flowers and bead jewellery made by Ka in studio 3, and Jackie Richardson's glass and metal sulptures. Wether it is gold and silver jewellery, ceramic flowers,wedding accessories,a carved leather hand bag, a painting ,brightly coloured pottery , an individual card,or stunning sculptures there is something here for everyone.

 
  Most workshops and studios are open 10.00am.-5.00pm Tuesday- Saturday
2.00pm- 5.00pm Sundays.
A few do open on Mondays and some on Sunday mornings . So for those special gifts come to Clevedon Craft Centre.
